Statement from ECICW on the role of women in the democratic transition in Tunisia- April 2017

On April 29, 2017, l’Union nationale de la femme tunisienne (UNFT), together with the European Centre of the International Council of Women (ECICW), organised a seminar on the role of women in the democratic transition in Tunisia.
ECICW expresses its total solidarity with the struggle of Tunisian women towards democracy and promotion of republican values.
We claim the European governments to support this indispensable step and march towards an equal world between men and women.
